Army Challenge Day!

On 10th October, 28 students from Years 9 and 10 completed the Army Youth Challenge Day Careers Event at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, showing all the attributes of the Thrybergh Way to represent the Academy!

They completed the Artillery Heavy Gun Speed Challenge, Medic Unit Assimilation Task, Infantry Sniper Observation Task and Paintball Woodland Target Range, followed by an Army Careers Presentation.

The behaviour and attitude of all students was excellent and they enjoyed gaining valuable experience and knowledge of Army roles, and potential career opportunities whilst speaking to serving soldiers on the Army camp.

They led the way in showing the Army their enthusiasm for the Military Exercise, well done everyone!
