Bullying
If you are a student at Thrybergh and a victim of bullying in school, please contact your Non-Teaching Head of Year for help and support. Should you want or prefer to talk to any other adult, you should do so.
At Thrybergh, we have a play or pass system. This means that, if the adult spoken to can’t deal with the bullying issue immediately, that adult will “pass” the issue to an adult who can; that second adult will “play” and stop what they may be doing to give the bullying issue their undivided attention.
Bullying will be an issue in every school and Thrybergh is no exception. The key is to take all accusations of bulling seriously and to deal with them straight away and to a conclusion.

Cyber-Bullying
Cyber bullying is when a person or a group of people uses the internet, mobile phones, online games or any other kind of digital technology to threaten, tease, upset or humiliate someone else. It is very important to keep yourself safe!

Remember if you’re reporting cyberbullying, keep a record of the date and time of the calls, emails or texts – don’t delete any messages you receive. Remember also that you can switch off and you don’t have to read, much less respond, to what is written.
