TA Science Club

This week in Science Club, students looked into some chemical reactions by making elephant toothpaste, using some plastic bottles, yeast, food colouring, and warm water. They then carefully added hydrogen peroxide to see an exothermic reaction, where the foam comes out of the bottle.

The students then took part in some STEM 5Park Box activities, where they planted some peas in small test tubes of gel to germinate and grow, with the plan of transferring them to soil and plant pots in the future.

Everyone did a brilliant job, and it’s great to see so many students coming along to test themselves in Science activities.

Well done!
