TA Science Club

This week in Science Club, students took part in various STEM Easter challenges and competitions. These activities were:

  • Mini Easter Egg Hunt
  • Making a Science Easter Garden using Oobleck, and various Easter ornaments
  • Making an Easter Snow Globe from water, washing up liquid, and glitter
  • Easter Egg Design competition, with an Easter egg being the prize
  • Making an Easter gift basket from various Easter themed items

The students had a great time and showed that they are able to complete many activities to a fantastic standard, some even took their creations home!

As said above, we have been running a couple of competitions in the lead up to Easter:

Competition 1 – Students were tasked to make an Easter Science Club Garden from various items.

Competition 2 – Students are designing an Easter Egg and packaging that could be for sale in a supermarket. We have some entries so far, but if anyone would like to join in the competition please come and see Mr Atkins in Science.

The entries must be handed into a member of Science or Mr Atkins no later than the end of Monday 24th March, so the top 3 winners can be chosen.

Well done everyone, and good luck!
