TA Science Club Week 5!

This week in Science Club, the students looked at the different ways of making bath bombs, including smaller sizes and larger ones that the students could wrap up and take home.

The students were also given the chance to make, and take home their own mini Christmas presents, as they were provided with bags and boxes that they could add various sweets and toys to, in order to make their own cellophane wrapped sweet packs, and Christmas cards!

The students used their knowledge to follow instruction cards with only a little guidance, which was superb. Some students also used their initiative to help others, and started tidying away the materials and equipment when they had finished, with everyone else encouraged to help afterwards.

Well done everyone! 😊

The last Science Club before Christmas will take place next week on the 17th December, where we’ll draw the raffle, do student practical prizes, and make Christmas Shortbread biscuits that they can take home to enjoy.

A huge thank you to all the students, staff, and other parties that have also had a go on our Science Club Christmas Raffle so far. If anyone still wants some raffle tickets, see our Science Club students, or Mr Atkins.
