TA Science Club Week 3!

This week at Science Club, the students had the chance to take part in two Science challenges!

These were:

⭐ Testing raisins in three different types of canned pop – Fanta Orange, Fanta Lemon, and Pepsi, to see what the reaction is and if the raisins would return to the top of the glass container, and why

⭐ Making Oobleck using cornflour and water, and adding different food colouring

Thomas and Rayona, along with the other students working together, made some good Oobleck in preparation for when we do Science Christmas Gardens, nearer to Christmas.

Well done everyone!

The Science Club Christmas Raffle is also up and running, with various prizes at 20p a ticket, or £1 a strip. These can be purchased from Mr Atkins in Science, or from some of the students involved, who will be going around at tutor time to raise some funds for further practical experiments, and some hoodies!
