For the last week of half term at Science Club, students were given a Halloween themed task. Everyone ventured down to Food Technology to test various skills such as following a recipe card to make Halloween shortbread and ghost biscuits, they used both teamwork and individual skills. This was linked to science through following a method, as they would do during practical experiments.
The students had three different tasks to complete, working individually and together. These were:
⭐ Halloween shortbread biscuits
⭐ Ghost biscuits
⭐ Pumpkin carving
The students worked brilliantly while taking part in all activities, and these tasks allowed the students the chance to experience key aspects of science in different situations, which helped them to see how it’s used in everyday life.
See you all after the holiday break for some Bonfire Night themed activities!
