TA Science Club Week 5!

This week in Science Club, everyone made shortbread! We ventured down to Food Technology to test some skills, such as following instructions from a recipe card, teamwork and independent work. We linked this to Science as we were following a method, much like when we take part in practical experiments. As well as this, we used Science to melt some chocolate, and add it to the top of our shortbread biscuits!

The students had a fantastic time, and all worked brilliantly, to get the best results.

A big thank you to Mr Haigh for helping us out this week, by allowing the students to use the Food Technology lab in order to see how Science is involved in everyday situations.

Well done everyone, see you all next week for more fun experiments!
