The Thrybergh Academy climbing club headed out on 15th March to spend the day climbing at Wharncliffe Crag. This was to give the students the chance to experience outdoor climbing after developing their skills on our indoor climbing wall.
The group tackled a number of the gritstone routes across the Great Buttress and Black Slab areas before trying their hand at abseiling. They all rose to the challenge completing some technical climbs, working on both outdoor climbing technique and rope skills. Well done everyone!
