We’re incredibly proud again today at Thrybergh Academy.
Incredible volunteers from Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and South Yorkshire Police have all volunteered their time today to support #restartaheartday
We also welcomed one of the Queen’s Deputy Lieutenant’s for South Yorkshire – Mr Dyson.
We’ve trained 256 students in the use of CPR in 1 day!.There will be further sessions later in the year for those who missed out or didn’t take part in the extra curricular session.
They are now all proud owners of a certificate to recognise their lifesaving skill. It’s part of our commitment to making our students to leave school to ABLE and qualified, in an ever changing world.
It was amazing to see such a positive event in school.
